Oriental Mindoro as "The Golden Island"

Oriental Mindoro, which is named to be "The Golden Island”, has beautiful and relaxing places to live and go with. As being called "The Golden Island", Oriental Mindoro has many resorts having clear blue beaches together with crystal white sand that every tourist enjoy to see with. During night time, everyone loves to start a bonfire because of the nice atmosphere with the breeze that kisses your skin and the moonlight that shines upon you and mirrored the reflection of it by the calming waves of the water. If there are fishermen sailing, they sometimes give fresh fish so you can cook it to the fire and eat it. Early in the morning the beaches are in low tide so you can go walk in the beach while the water is not yet reaching the seashore and when the afternoon comes, you will witness the beautiful sunset while you are sitting in an old cut tree.

Every summer and vacation me and my family go to my Grandma’s house which in front of it is the beach. My Grandma always cook seafood dishes  for us which is freshly caught on the sea and a refreshing buko juice coming from the buko trees around the beach and back when I was a child, we sometimes take a bath from the free flowing post scattered around. In my Grandma's place you will see the native houses of the neighborhood. They use bamboo to build their houses and fences to have a cool and relaxing home.

What I love about in my hometown is the people living on it. Even they do not know you, they will still treat you as the way they treat their neighbors as if you live in their place in many years. They are very friendly and hospitable especially when there are tourists on their place. They are much honored to have guests in their house and even they do not have enough food, they will still offer you something to eat and give you a comfortable feeling when you are talking to them. I know that everyone will enjoy visiting my hometown because you will experience a peaceful retreat to yourself as I've experienced it until now.
